Cultured concourse. Delivered.

As part of the ambitious transformation of San Diego International Airport’s new Terminal 1, Zebra supported High Flying Foods for the successful award of a key concessions package -delivering six unique food and beverage outlets – each designed to elevate the traveler experience while celebrating the local flavors and spirit of Southern California.

With six outlets in play and an aggressive timeline, Zebra’s ability to craft compelling operationally-sound design submission packages in line with the goals and standards of the airport provided a defining advantage to the bid.

From high-impact 3-D renderings delivered in weeks, to fully realized environments, Zebra partnered closely with every stakeholder throughout the entire development journey. With outlet locations spread across the various ‘cultural districts’ of the terminal, each with its own look and ambiance, Zebra ensured a balance between brand experience and the desired concourse experience, while uniting function and flow across the terminal. As Architect of Record, Zebra delivered the full technical package. As Construction Manager Zebra ensured every concept was executed with speed and precision. Specialized services such as furniture procurement consulting brought additional advantages.

Each scope, from concept to completion scope exemplified Zebra’s capabilities in delivering large-scale, multi-concept F&B operations in an aviation environment with the highest level of compliance, coordination and service.
